Situated in the exclusive river-end of Hawthorn, an inner eastern suburb of Melbourne, 48 Mason Street is a collection of four single-level boutique apartments, each spread over 150sqm. This luxurious project has been designed by Cactus Architects and each apartment features two enormous bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a private home office/study, state-of-the-art kitchen, a sleek alfresco terrace with valley views and underground basement parking.
Cactus Architects utilised a carefully selected assortment of our light fittings to complement the unique design elements and architectural angles of this sophisticated project – right from the interior of the residential spaces to the exterior, the ground floor office and underground car park.
Our custom-made Mondo Blok wall washers were installed in the common areas of the building as well as inside the apartments to highlight artwork on selected walls with their 45-degree tilts. Our Apollo track spotlights in white were used throughout the open-plan living areas to offer flexible ambient and task lighting.
Our Mini Mondo Blokx up and down wall lights featured at each end of the expansive terraces along with our Eyelid step lights to illuminate the front of the circulation space and to add visual interest. The underground car park and building entryways were fitted with our surface-mounted slimline Lineal LED pendants for effective coverage and energy-efficiency.
